Experiment in Terror Series Read Over

November 6, 2014 By Kellie 1 Comment

Wow.  Okay, so it has been quite awhile since I have written anything here.  You might even be wondering if I’ve read anything worth writing about.  I’m here to say that I have definitely tackled some worthy reads during my time away.

I finished book #2 of the Divergent series but have yet to read the final book.  I am actually feeling kind of lukewarm about the series.  Anyone else?

I finished reading Elle Casey’s “Haven”, which is the final book in the  Apocalypsis series.  I also came across a new series called the “Chronos Files” by Rysa Walker.  The first book in the series “Time’s Edge” is wonderful!  I plan to review it in a few days.

Finally, I have been re-reading the Experiment in Terror Series.  I felt that the Experiment in Terror series deserved a read-over.  For one, Karina Halle released the final book for this series not too long ago.  So, I wanted to get re-acquainted with Perry, Dex and the gang.  Right now, I am reading Ashes to Ashes and in a few days, Dust to Dust.  The Experiment in Terror series is truly a series that you can read over and over again.  I’ve been really sad about the fact that Karina released her final book — the final chapters of Dex and Perry’s adventures.  So sad in fact, that i’ve been avoiding reading the final book until I had a chance to relish the entire series one more time.  Which is not to say that I can’t enjoy the entire series until the end of time, but the fact that there will be no new Dex and Perry adventures to laugh, ugly cry over or bask in the glow of their love for one another, is a little bit sad.  What can I say?  I’m a book nerd.

Review of Falling by Christopher Pike

Falling by Christopher Pike

Christopher Pike was one of my most favorite horror and suspense authors as a tween and a teenager.  I spent many nights engrossed in his stories.  They were so hard to put down! A couple of years ago, I happened to come across a copy of Christopher Pike‘s Falling at my local library.  I had […]
